Itinerary

Day 01:  Luxor Hotel

Welcome to Las Vegas.  Meet and greet with your travel planners, tour guide, and bus drivers.    

Day 02:  Grand Canyon National Park Lodge

Depart Las Vegas for Grand Canyon National Park.  We will pass historic Route 66 at Williams and Kaibab National Forest.  Explore Grand Canyon.  See beautiful sunset.  Stay overnight inside Grand Canyon park.

Day 03:  Kayenta Monument Valley Inn

Impressive sunrise in Grand Canyon park.  Continue across Arizona and into the Navajo Nation.  Visit Monument Valley on Arizona/Utah border.  See close-up massive formations on a 4-wheel drive tour with Navajo guides.  Join Navajo cookout for dinner surrounded by Monument Valley (optional dinner).

Day 04: Grand Vista Hotel

Head north for Moab.  Visit Arches National Park, Grand Junction, and Colorado National Monument.

Day 05:  Hilton Garden Inn 

Continue to visit Colorado National Monument and then journey east across the Rocky Mountains to Denver.

Day 06: Econolodge of Custer

Travel across Wyoming and into the Black Hills of South Dakota.  Spend 2 nights in Custer in heart of Black Hill National Forest and gateway to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse Memorial.

Day 07: Econolodge of Custer

Scenic drive along Wildlife Loop Road at Custer State Park to see 1,300 bison (buffaloes).  Afterward, visit

Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.   •Continental Breakfast

Day 08:  Buffalo Bill Village Inn

Head through high country where open-range cattle kings made war on homesteaders in 1890s.  Photo stop at

Devil's Tower National Monument.  Overnight at famous Buffalo Bill western town of Cody.  •Continental breakfast.

Day 09:  Yellowstone Brandin Iron Inn

Visit Buffalo Bill Center of the West (optional).  Then we travel to America's first national park, Yellowstone National Park.  Two overnights stay inside the park.

Day 10:  Yellowstone Brandin Iron Inn

Spend all day exploring Yellowstone National Park.  See Old Faithful Geyser, Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Fountain Paint Pots.  See park's wildlife that can include moose, bison, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, wolf, bear, fox, coyote, and beaver.

Day 11:  Flying Saddle Resort

Head south into Grand Teton National Park.  Stroll along the glacier-fed Jenny Lake.  Arrive in Wild West town of Jackson.  Overnight in Alpine right on banks of Snake River.

Day 12:  Crystal Inn & Suites

Travel to Salt Lake City.  Visit Great Salt Lake Desert.  Tour Temple Square, the Capitol Building, and the downtown area.  •Continental breakfast

Day 13:  Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn

Visit Bryce Canyon National Park and see most brilliant shades of rock, and pillars called "hoodoos".   •Full breakfast

Day 14:  Luxor Hotel

Stop at Zion National Park and see steep canyons, stone towers, and fantastic rock structures.  We return to Las Vegas.  •Full Breakfast 

Day 15:

Your vacation ends this morning.  You may choose to spend extra nights and explore Las Vegas further.
