⚠️ Important Health & Physical Activity Notice – Switzerland Tour

The Best of Switzerland tour includes travel through high-elevation areas, reaching approximately 7,400 feet above sea level during portions of the itinerary. At higher elevations, some travelers may experience symptoms such as:

  • Shortness of breath

  • Lightheadedness or dizziness

  • Headaches

  • Fatigue

  • Nausea

  •

This tour also requires a moderate to high level of physical activity, including frequent walking and standing, uneven or cobblestone surfaces, stairs, inclines, and extended periods of sightseeing.

For your safety, we strongly recommend that all travelers consult their healthcare provider before departure to determine whether they are physically able to participate. This is especially important for travelers with heart or lung conditions, high blood pressure, mobility limitations, balance concerns, or other medical conditions that may be affected by higher elevations or prolonged walking.

Travelers are responsible for determining whether they are medically and physically fit to participate in the tour. If your healthcare provider advises against travel because of altitude, mobility, or physical activity concerns, we encourage you to follow that recommendation.

Please be aware that accessibility accommodations may be limited in some historic towns, mountain areas, train stations, and sightseeing locations in Switzerland.  Our goal is for every traveler to enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience throughout Switzerland.
